Read Across America is an annual event created  to promote literacy and encourage a love of reading. In true Beechwood style, we celebrated with a themed spirit week to complement all the fun learning activities in our classrooms inspired by READING! We hosted special guest readers from around the district to join our classrooms and share a great book!!!

We are excited to announce the launch of our fundraising campaign to support the American Heart Association! This will be Beechwood's 5th consecutive year participating in the Kids Heart Challenge. Last year, we raised over $38,000!!! That is a high bar to top, but we are going to aim for $40,000! When we all pitch in to do a little, together, we can do A LOT! The Kids Heart Challenge is a nationwide program that teaches students about heart healthy habits, while raising funds for research and education.

Day 100 never gets old at Beechwood School.  Teachers and students joined in the fun celebration of this special day.

We prioritize our students' social-emotional learning just as much as their academics every day, but the special-ness of this play time, outside of our typical, daily recess time, brought out the best in our Bears!!!

Beechwood Bears celebrate School Counselors Week by sharing their feelings of appreciation and thanking our very own Mrs. K for helping them when they need it most.
